To help your pet stay at their optimum weight our nurses can advise on nutritional requirements and help adjust diet if necessary. Overweight animals can go on to develop health problems such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease and breathing problems. It is therefore important to make sure your pet is a healthy weight throughout their life.
Our clinics offer various diets to suit your pets’ individual needs and provide the highest quality nutrition, whatever your pets age, size or dietary requirement.
Puppy & Kitten
Our nurses can provide advice on vaccinations, neutering, training, confidence visits, diets, and toys. We offer a free puppy or kitten check for pets who have just reached their new home and are between their 1st and 2nd vaccination with a Veterinary Surgeon. After getting a new pet, unless there is a pressing urgency, it is best to keep them at home for the first 2 days to allow them to settle before taking them to a vet, as this can be overwhelming.
Puppy parties are regularly held on certain Thursdays and Fridays, which help with socialisation and are just a lot of fun. For more information about any scheduled parties, please contact our Bieldside or Westhill clinics
Dental care
We recommend your pet gets regular dental checks. The nurses can recommend dental products, such as, toothpastes, supplements, dental food, dental chews and dental toys. The best dental care is well known to be brushing, and our Nurses can help you get started by inviting you to a dental demonstration clinic as well as offer regular tooth brushing when needed.
